It's no secret I'm completely obsessed with Mike. I love his major bass bombs, salt and pepper hair and prominent features. I crush on him tough when he sings and then when Page sings I crush on him instead. Its a back and forth. I have been joking for quite some time now that I wanted to throw a bra at him while he was playing to show my appreciation. Which about over a year ago turned into a TEAM MISSION.
At the Alpharetta shows in 2010 (oh so wicked good)....we purchased the largest, most pink bra we could find at the local DiscountMart. While shopping a local lady saw the Bra in our paws, and said wow you have good taste, as she held up an identical bra. We brought it to the show on the 4th and wrote "Thanks for the Memories" inside, which was quickly pointed out it should have read "Thanks for the Mammaries". The Bra, aka LeBra quickly became part of the team. It was just pure serendipity that LeBra actually fit our Laverne perfectly. Yes, she has very large B@@bs.
When it was realized that Cactus's bday was at our HOMEtown show in DETROIT. It was quite OBVIOUS it was the perfect time to throw LeBra at Mike. We were complete and total jedi masters and got all the key players (Ems, E'lon, Erin, Laverne + boyz) in the pit dead smack right in front of Mike. The band had a ton of fun with us that night. We were fucking rocking out, smiling our asses off, giving them MAD LOVE. After Weekapaug, Trey and Mike were talking about what song to play and Laverne (who was wearing LeBra) said...OMG NOW. So we all helped ripped it off her, her sunglasses got stuck and we all had our hands around it and lauched it up on stage....Cactus bent down to pick up a card someone had left for him, and then we all started hollering for him to pick up the Bra. He obliged and without skipping a beat he threw it over to Fishman. As if he knew of our year long plan, Fishman put on our Bra and looked absolutely stunning in the neon pink. The boyz treated us to a gorgeous TELA. Holy phuck! Did that just happen?
Our year long mission was complete = Glitter Mountain giggle fest. Turns out, Phish stage crew threw Le Bra back to us at the end of the show...I can guarantee when the planets are lined up just right....Le Bra is making another appearance.
